One of the most eye- opening ways to experience the dedication behind conservation in South Africa is with a 1.5-hour guided walking tour through the renowned Moholoholo Rehabilitation Centre.
This unique experience offers powerful insight into the rescue, care, and rehabilitation of injured, orphaned, or poisoned animals.
It’s more than just a tour—it’s an opportunity to understand the impact of both natural threats and human activities on South Africa’s incredible wildlife.
Moholoholo is home to a diverse range of species, including:
- Majestic birds of prey, such as Africa’s largest eagle and several species of endangered vultures
- Big cats like the lion, white lion, cheetah, leopard, and the elusive black leopard
- Common duiker
